It’s Showtime!

I don’t feel like it’s my day. It’s just one of those ordinary days, but the difference is, I’m officially 21 years old today.

Since I’ve stepped in the teenage year until I reach this age, nothing’s ever changed, especially with my attitude. How you’ve known me before is still the same today.

But today’s occasion is not only for me, there are other two major reasons why my family should celebrate—for Lolo’s successful operation and a post Father’s Day bash for all the fathers in the family.

Meanwhile, as thanksgiving and tradition, this is the candle I lighted on the morning of June 18 at the Basilica Del Sto. Niño. These seven candles represent the seven of us in the family—Papa, Mama, I, Keray, Carla, Manda and Yanna.

Furthermore, the thanksgiving party will happen on Sunday, in time with our Barrio Fiesta. But sad to say, the other celebrant, Lolo Engracio can’t go with us in Negros for he’ll be taking his regular Physical Therapy and doctor’s assessment in Cebu.

Nevertheless, I would still say, “this is our show, this is our time, it’s Showtime!” haha…
