An unplanned walk is one of the bests, unlike the prepared one where you know where to go, where steps are carefully plotted, where you have to follow your arrangement.

While students were attending classes and some of the Mass Coms were shooting inside the office, one Monday afternoon, three females (consider the other one) escaped into somewhere hushed.

Those were us—Dora, Caroline, and Bea. We went for a coffee at Harvest’s, just few steps away from Gimmick. But when we arrived there, there was no hot water so all preferred the cold drinks. We saw Links there, and we only knew that it is his “tambayan” if he has no class.

Mama Bea’s motorcycle went out of gasoline, so we proceeded to the station in San Jose extension. The vehicle became energetic again so we proposed for a ride around the city, a test drive again for Mama Bea.

To Downtown, Looc, Piapi until we reached Escaño, to North Road, and returned to the campus—this was our route. Unfortunately, something funny and embarrassing was experienced while we were at E.J Blanco Extension (a part of Piapi). It’s ours to keep, haha. Really amusing! The people might suspect that we were drunken ladies that time. Well we didn’t care.

We reached the campus and the publication office but we can’t stop laughing at what had happened to us. It was a worthwhile experience, a lesson too.

One hour after, I, Caroline, Kenneth and Cheeno walked without knowing where to go and take supper. Our purpose is only to eat, not to walk a distant away and look for a carenderia or restaurant.

We were already at Building 3 of the Dumaguete City Public Market when we turned back and went to Mang Inasal.

Yes, we finally seated. While the two ordered chicken with unlimited rice, I and Caroline chose burger and spaghetti. But the foods [we ordered] were no more available. It was “boring,” so though they have ordered, we still went out and look for another restaurant. Bad people, haha.

We marched to the public market and while we were near the meat section, we finally made a decision—to eat at Highway 10, our last and final destination. Guess what I’ve got there, two slices of chicken pizza. That’s the product of my labor in walking for how many steps.

But not bad. I’ve enjoyed the night and the company.
