That’s the name of a newly discovered favorite band of mine.

Sugarland is an American country music duo composed of singer–songwriters Jennifer Nettles (lead vocals) and Kristian Bush (background vocals, lead vocals, mandolin, acoustic guitar, and harmonica).The duo was founded in 2002 by Kristen Hall, joined by Bush and ultimately became a trio after hiring Jennifer Nettles as lead singer. They’re similar to the style of The Ting Tings and MYMP in the local music scene where two persons play different instruments and bring the name of the group.

Jennifer is a jovial singer. But if the song is solemn or a little touching, she also shows her emotion startlingly. That’s why I love her. Any song you will let her sing, she can handle it well. Jennifer is really good, same as Kristian as seen in their music videos.

The whole night, I listened to the songs of Sugarland. I was truly amazed by the two and their music. Together we sway to the rhythm of Sugarland.
