Scholars’ dilemma

Why are scholars stuck in the Accounting Office? Because there is only one officer entertaining the thousands of scholars standing in long line outside the office or along the hallway of the 2nd floor of the Administration Building.

Through the years, the Accounting Office has been the biggest headache to all scholars.

You report early morning, but you get the sign of the authorized person late in the afternoon and the rest of the offices are closing so you have to continue processing your enrollment on the next day. Thus, your aim of enrolling as early as possible could only be realized on the following day.

How pitiful this situation is. The scholars religiously lined up, hoping that the sign would be granted, but at the end, only perceived a sound that the office is now closed, that they will no longer receive scholars’ concern on that day. I pity the scholars and I’m one of them.

How cruel and insensitive the people in that office are. They work slowly, lousy without thinking, looking on the condition of students who are waiting outside.

*Sigh*. This is really the system of enrollment here. And this is not the only office where students have to line up in order to get enrolled.

That’s why I always say that if I were only rich, I would have not chosen this as my school. I would have not enrolled myself here. But looking on the other sides, there are many factors to be thanked on with the opportunity of studying in Negros Oriental State University.
