Returned to the boarding house this morning from an overnight—completely having no sleep yet.

I already scheduled my siesta hours for the day, but when I reached the room, my roommate rested in my bed. I didn’t bother disturbing her for she might also returned late. I’m not sure.

I waited for 10 minutes if she can wake up through the sound of my phone or with my voice as I quietly sang. But she didn’t. She seemed to have a very sound sleep.

So I was challenged—to climb the top of the double deck without awakening her. For six months now, I haven’t been on this position since I was transferred to the base or the lower part of the bed.

I tried. I had no choice. The bed was moved, thus there was noise. But I did it! It was a success. So I lay down in her bed (we exchanged places) for five hours.

Honestly, I miss the times when I used to sleep in the “second floor” of a double-deck, haha.

On the other hand, I’d like to share this beautiful message I received from a friend through text this morning.

“How would you know if you’re happy?

It’s when you’re alone yet you don’t feel lonely or incomplete.
It’s when everything is wrong yet you find simple reasons to smile.
It’s when you wake up every morning without any regret from yesterday.

But do you want to know how to find true happiness?—be inlove with God.”

Some of the best forwarded quotes are from this friend. The messages I receive from her daily add inspiration to my days.

I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, who has sight so keen and strong
That it can follow the flight of song!

Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friends............muahhhh
