Was from the Manila Teachers this afternoon, but when I walked through the alley leading to the entrance of my university, I felt this indescribable happiness upon seeing several students who were reading the 10th and 11th issue of The NORSUnian.

As I walked, I was floating in happiness because we were able to publish timely especially on stories which are related to the school’s Founding celebration.

We did it! A fulfillment of the goal that once almost lose our hopes to come up on time, and challenged especially the editors, the lay-out artist, and the business manager.

Yes, The NORSUnian did it! We were able to hit our target. Thus, I am congratulating everyone for a job well done. How flattering it is to the part of the persons behind the publication to be able to hear students who are appreciating our efforts, and more is seeing our co-staffers who are in high spirits because of this achievement. That’s why we feel proud of our own selves.

Another, after circulating the papers, good news came—our honorarium resolution for the four issues was signed by the president. Wow, all is happy as every staffer considers the honorarium as a drive to exert more and push harder for the betterment of the institution.

But we admit that we often face the “last minute work” or cramming moments in submitting the papers to the printing press. Yet, the most fortunate part is still the publishing of papers on the next week, meaning it’s not too late. Thanks to God, that even though late sometimes, but it’s not much of a “history” or “old testament” as how the other instructors react. But we don’t care! Maybe they don’t have any idea how hard working in a publication is.

Moreover, my final say is, “if you believe in every one’s capacity and remain to be optimistic, you will really achieve your aims”
