Got a new job!
I’m thankful that a reporter through the recommendation of our department chairperson consulted me to be an encoder/proof reader/headline writer/translator in The Negros Chronicle, a weekly newspaper in the city.
I accepted the offer not because of the salary, but because of the experience that I would get out of that work, as it also applies to my course.
I am taking 21 units and am also working at the school paper, but I’m confident that this job won’t disturb me. I know I can manage time, balance work, studies, and leisure, and handle the things.
“You are hired,” this statement from my boss is an evident that I ‘got a new job’. I hope the people at that publication are approachable. Congratz to my self! Sana maka-survive ka Dora…
