Mangosteen moment

The v-hire ridden by Mama and Carla was supposed to depart on the exact time, but because of a fruit requested by the teacher-in-charge of the school where mama is teaching, I was forced to go back to downtown and buy that mangosteen.

Speaking of mangosteen, my last taste of this fruit was during Lovely’s despedida, the night before she leaves for Canada. I remember the group, my high school classmates who for the last time, accompanied Lovely’s last glimpse of Dumaguete. It was already four years ago, but is never erased in my thoughts.

On my first year, I often see my classmates. But now, everyone is busy with their courses, with their works, with their lives. I miss the group. There are only few who I frequently see now, only few because some could only be seen in other places.

But whenever that time would be for our reunion, that all will be present, I know it will happen. I’ll continue savoring the mangosteen until the day comes that we’ll meet again.
