It’s my big day
On this day, my family, relatives, close family friends and neighbors are celebrating my college triumph. But prior to the day of the celebration, I had a fever and was attacked by hyperacidity for the first time, so I wasn’t able to give my hundred percent help during the preparation.
But let me acknowledge these people who lend their hands...
Tatay Melvin for the major, major cooking; Lolo Engracio, Uncle Bong-bong, Uncle Mervin, Uncle Lenlen, and Manong Ihoy for slaughtering two pigs and one goat;

Mama Eva, Auntie Rose May, Nong Oscar, and Mama Yoyet for the dessert; Nanay Bebe, Tatay Senti and Auntie Maricel para sa specially made cake;

Uncle Rito for baking a chocolate cake for me;

Auntie Ging-ging and Uncle Tata, Nanay Laida (ang totoong pangalawa kong nanay), Auntie Felnie and Auntie Dyna for some cash; Nanay Mely, Auntie Rosemarie and Auntie Myrna as the serbedoras;

To Fr. Jolito Tagud for mentioning my name on the Sunday Mass and for praying for me when he and his family visited the house; to all who come and congratulated me, THANK YOU.

But above all, thank you Mama Miploy and Papa Pepe for giving me this celebration. For my entire year in college, you never leave me. You are my greatest supporters.

Happy Christening also to my cousin Lyka, our Dadang Kalay. She was baptized yesterday.

May we all have blissful Sundays!
