A student is a budget officer

At times, you have lots of money, while there are also instances when your pocket is emptied. That’s the life of a student! I can really relate to this situation. Students are in the best of their lives on Mondays to Wednesdays, but they become budget officers when Thursday all the way to Sunday strikes.

Students are millionaire only for a limited period, but most of the time, they are running out of money. They even keep the last coins in the drying wallet just to make sure that they have some amount to get every time they want to buy an item or food.

But you’ll be surprised how wise they are when even though they are out of budget, they can still eat delicious foods, and buy what they want, as if they still have many resources left. That’s why I salute students, especially those who are living away from their parents and trying to live independently.

Being a student it is important on how you budget money. A lot of people always talk about student loans and books and how to pay for tuition, but they never seem to include entertainment.

If you actually teach a student how to budget their money while including going out to movies, bars, buying alcohol and the like, then maybe they will save a little more money because then they will actually see where their money is going.

There is a whole blog post on how students should spend their money on entertainment:
