Misconception?
I saw him one Saturday afternoon. At the first stare, I sense that he seems to be “Katsila” (or suplado). I remained uneasy when I kept my eyes on him. He was uncomfortable I observed, as he waited for the presentation to be ready.
Okay, everything was fixed. He started conversing, accentuating on his lecture and bending attention to the listeners. He discussed expressively, emotionally reading on the sentences on the screen.
He flashed a smile. It was the first time I gaze at his face appearing like the shape and color of a rainbow. Moments of glancing at each other followed.
He was becoming funny yet very informative with his lecture. His examples were appealing, everyone interacted, all laughed including he himself.
I then felt better than the previous minutes when he was still new to my sight. Maybe, my first impression on him was untrue, or because we are not friends, that’s why I became judgmental that time. Maybe, he just looks Katsila on the first meeting, or maybe, he only appears to be cruel when it comes to seeing new faces.
