I did it!
Success! The farthest walk ever, which beats my 4-km walk years ago in a procession with other members of a religious women organization I joined in.
This time, I achieved an 8-km walk from Valencia to Robinsons-Dumaguete in an event called “Walk the talk”, a campaign for environmental conservation organized by the Office of the Vice Governor of Negros Oriental and the administration of Foundation University. The expression “walk the talk” is like saying, “walk it like you talk it.”

We started at 6am and reached the destination as quick as 7:30, so that means that we only took the walk for one and a hour. And the best thing about it was, I did not feel the weariness because of fun.
However, the event was mixed with politics, but still okay. I and the rest of my colleagues went their to cooperate for the preservation of the environment, and for experience purposes(for my self).
Until now, I just can’t believe that I did it. We’ll still walk more. Let’s join another walk and run marathon on the next invitations.
It was worthy of the short hours of sleep, of the sweats and hunger. It was worthy of the delay in class, therefore I already consider it a great achievement.
I’m proud to say that I walked my talk!
